The Niù scarf was born from the desire to give new life to leftover fabrics or small yards, transforming them into special, lightweight, and versatile accessories: small details that complete an outfit and tell a story.

For this version, I sourced a limited-run cotton jersey , decorated with an instantly charming Red and Rust stripe . As soon as I saw it, it took me back to the sea: to the harbor, to the moored boats, to the sailors sailing toward distant lands.
A simple fabric, but with a very powerful imagery.

Materials

Cotton jersey from deadstock

Deadstock fabrics are surplus materials or those with small defects, discarded from industrial production. They are carefully selected for their quality and composition and transformed into sustainable, long-lasting garments made in limited quantities. By choosing a deadstock garment, you help reduce waste and conserve precious resources.

Treatment

Machine wash at max 30°C, with a gentle spin cycle. Iron at medium heat.
